Job Description

As an Airplane Detailing Specialist, you will be responsible for the cleaning and detailing of both the interior and exterior of aircraft. This includes ensuring the aircraft is spotless, polished, and prepared for safe and comfortable travel for passengers and crew.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and polish the exterior of the aircraft, including washing, waxing, and removing contaminants.
  • Vacuum and sanitize the cockpit and cabin, ensuring all areas are dust-free.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, tray tables, and high-touch surfaces inside the plane.
  • Maintain and detail aircraft seats, carpets, and upholstery to ensure comfort.
  • Inspect and report any visible damage or issues with the aircraft’s interior or exterior.
  • Apply protective coatings to maintain the integrity and appearance of the aircraft surfaces.
  • Adhere to all aviation industry standards and safety protocols while cleaning.
  • Manage cleaning supplies, maintaining adequate inventory and preparing for future tasks.
  • Coordinate with maintenance or flight teams for optimal cleaning schedules.

Skill & Experience

  • Previous experience in aircraft detailing or cleaning is preferred.
  • Knowledge of aviation cleaning products, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to work with specialized cleaning solutions for aircraft surfaces.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and cleaning protocols specific to aviation.
  • Physical stamina for handling large aircraft and working in varying environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on maintaining a high-quality finish.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with airline staff or contractors.
  • Ability to work efficiently within tight timelines.
