Job Description

As a Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality deep cleaning services for carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture. Your role includes using advanced techniques and equipment to remove dirt, stains, and odors, ensuring that each surface is restored to a like-new condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform deep cleaning of carpets, rugs, and upholstery using various methods such as steam cleaning, dry cleaning, or shampooing.
  • Inspect carpets and upholstery to determine the most suitable cleaning method based on fabric type and condition.
  • Remove stains, dirt, and odors from carpets and upholstery, ensuring a thorough clean without damaging the material.
  • Use specialized equipment such as steam cleaners, vacuums, and upholstery cleaning tools.
  • Provide spot treatment for high-traffic areas and stains that require extra attention.
  • Clean and maintain the cleaning equipment, ensuring it functions properly and safely.
  • Recommend protective treatments or stain-resistant treatments for carpets and upholstery when appropriate.
  • Follow safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and ensure proper ventilation during cleaning.
  • Work with clients to schedule cleaning services and ensure customer satisfaction with the results.
  • Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, including client information, materials used, and time spent.

Skill & Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in carpet, rug, or upholstery cleaning.
  • Knowledge of various carpet and upholstery materials and suitable cleaning methods for each.
  • Experience using professional cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, shampooers, and vacuums.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and products, adhering to safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and restored
