Job Description

As a Janitorial Services Specialist, you will be responsible for the regular cleaning and maintenance of commercial spaces such as offices, buildings, and other facilities. Your role includes maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and the overall presentation of spaces to ensure a pleasant and professional environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, or monthly cleaning of commercial spaces such as offices, bathrooms, hallways, and break rooms.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and prevent dirt buildup.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, counters, and windowsills.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners in offices and common areas.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring that they are stocked with necessary supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.).
  • Restock cleaning supplies and notify the facility manager when supplies need to be replenished.
  • Clean and maintain the exterior of the building, including windows, entryways, and parking lots.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly to ensure it’s in good working condition.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage in the building to the property manager or supervisor.
  • Follow proper safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely according to safety standards.

Skill & Experience

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning services.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and equipment used for janitorial services.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and the proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
