As a Subcontracted Cleaning Specialist, you will work with larger teams and take on targeted cleaning projects for commercial, residential, or specialized clients. This role is ideal for skilled cleaning teams ready to handle larger-scale operations with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will be part of a dynamic team that handles specific and often more complex cleaning jobs on a subcontracted basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute larger cleaning projects as a subcontracted team member.
- Coordinate with clients to understand specific cleaning requirements and deliver tailored services.
- Perform specialized cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning, floor stripping, pressure washing, or post-construction clean-up.
- Lead a team of cleaners, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet industry standards, safety guidelines, and client expectations.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment required for large-scale projects.
- Communicate with the main contractor or project manager to stay updated on progress and deadlines.
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of quality control throughout the cleaning process.
- Provide detailed reporting on the status and completion of each project.
Skill & Experience
- Proven experience in large-scale or specialized cleaning jobs (e.g., post-construction, industrial, etc.).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and techniques for diverse cleaning projects.
- Ability to work with various contractors and clients in different industries.
- Experience working in a subcontractor capacity is preferred.
- Ability to maintain safety standards and ensure all equipment is used properly.
- Good communication and organizational skills to coordinate with teams and clients.
